Cookies are pieces of data stored in your Internet browser folder, for remembering specific information such as user names, passwords, email address, credit card numbers, etc. This can be a bad thing because a lot of Web sites that use cookies will take your information and sell it to other companies and those companies will use your information to send you Spam or to steal info for identity fraud. A way to protect yourself from this would be, when you enter in information and it asks to remember your password or username say no, it is convenient to have this available, but just make sure you trust the site asking for this option. Also you can go to your Internet browser icon, right click, and go down to properties. There you can access your cookie and history options, hit clear cookies and all your cookies will be deleted.
