Ever get those annoying emails talking about the most pointless things, and they seem to overflow your inbox? That my friend is Spam, Spammers are usually people with online business’s trying to expand their market by targeting, well anyone, even you and me. They somehow manage to get your information, probably from sites where you enter in your information such as name, email, address, screen name etc., and use it to mass email people crap that 90% of the time just gets deleted.

There are ways of getting around Spam, most online email accounts such as Yahoo mail have separate folders like bulk folders, that get like 100 Spam emails a day, this is useful sometimes, but a lot of times Spam will make its way to your inbox. To avoid getting Spam this way, make sure the sites your giving your information are information protected, a lot of times there are boxes that you can check off that will say something around the lines of protect information from account info sharing. Always check this box to ensure that your information is not shared with other companies that will Spam the hell out of your inbox with pointless emails.

A lot of times Spam emails may contain other files in them such as Trojans, spy ware, or virus’s so be careful about clicking on links inside emails, if a pop up comes up asking to download a file make sure you want that file, this is how most virus’s and such get out, threw Spam emails.
